MVC Fall Sports Season Updates / Honors



A huge congratulations go to the Cincinnati Country Day women's soccer team for winning the 2018 STATE CHAMPIONSHIP!  The girls finished the season with an impressive 20-2 record.  What was even more impressive was the total domination they displayed during their postseason run.  The squad had an incredible 42-1 goal differential in tournament!  Read more HERE

Congratulations to head coach Theresa Hirschauer and her team on winning the school's first girls' soccer STATE CHAMPIONSHIP!

Not to be outdone, the Summit Country Day Silver Knights defeated Richfield Revere 4-0 November 10 to claim the school's seventh OHSAA State Boys' Soccer Championship!  This was also the team's fourth consecutive title!  Read more HERE.


Congratulations to our other fall sports season athletes who advanced to State competition in the sport of golf.  The boys' golf team from Seven Hills (Max Lane, Jacob Joffe, Andrew Yang, Taylor Greenwald, and Egan Dewitt) advanced to the DIII State Championships at The Ohio State University.  The Stingers finished seventh as a team, paced by Max's sixth overall finish!  DIII results can be found HERE.

In Division II results, Summit Country Day's Jake Simpson and CHCA's Jack Sonne advanced to Columbus as well!  Jack finished seventh overall!  DII results can be found HERE.  Congratulations!

In girls' tennis, CHCA's Abby Nugent won the District tournament and advanced to the 2018 State Championships at the Lindner Family Tennis Center.  Abby was joined by Summit Country Day's Elizabeth Fahrmeier and the Lady Knights' doubles team of Amy Poffenberger and Sadie Joseph.  Congratulations!

Summit Finishes As State Runner-Up!

In boys' cross country, Summit Country Day finished as Regional runner-up and advanced as a team to the State Meet in Hebron!  The Silver Knights finished as State runner-up to cap off another great season under head coach Kurtis Smith.  Complete State results can be found HERE.  Read more HERE.

On the girls' cross country side, Summit Country Day's Catherine Coldiron and Katie Chamberlin advanced to the State Meet as well.  Catherine finished seventh at Regionals, while Katie came in right behind at eighth!  Results of the DIII State Girls' Cross Country Meet can be found HERE.  Read more HERE.
