MVC Player And Team Of The Week Awards

Cincinnati Country Day's Riley Michalski (boys' soccer) and Kate Brock (girls' soccer) were finalists for the Enquirer Athlete of the Week award, announced August 20.

MVCA's Will Stewart (boys' cross country) and Summit Country Day's Doug Simpson (boys' soccer) and Isabel Schomburger (volleyball) were finalists for the Enquirer Athlete of the Week award, announced August 26.

MVCA's Will Stewart (boys' cross country), Norwood's Maddie Baker (girls' cross country), CHCA's Cole Fisher (football), Cincinnati Country Day's Lawson Renie (girls' soccer), Clark Montessori's Tiffany Campbell (girls' soccer), and Seven Hills' Avani Seshiah (volleyball) were finalists for the Enquirer Athlete of the Week award, announced September 2.

Roger Bacon was a finalist for the TriState Football Gold Star Chili Team of the Week award, announced September 8.

Cincinnati College Prep Academy's Mark Smith was a finalist for the TriState Football Mella Player of the Week award, announced September 22.

Cincinnati Country Day's Natalie De Beer (girls' cross country) and Lawson Renie (girls' soccer), Seven Hills' Jacob Joffe (boys' golf), and Summit Country Day's Riley Simpson (girls' golf) were finalists for the Enquirer Athlete of the Week award, announced September 23.

CHCA was a finalist for the TriState Football Gold Star Chili Team of the Week award, announced September 29.  

CHCA's Cole Fisher and North College Hill's Miles Landrum were in contention for the TriState Football Mella Player of the Week award, announced September 29.

Summit Country Day's Matthew Brumfield (boys' cross country) and Catherine Coldiron (girls' cross country), Seven Hills' Ahmed Abass (boys' soccer), Cincinnati Country Day's Kate Brock (girls' soccer), and CHCA's Katie Gansle (volleyball) were finalists for the Enquirer Athlete of the Week award, announced October 28.  In addition, New Miami and Lockland were up for the Ohio Football Team of the Week award!

New Miami's Deanza Duncan and St. Bernard's Peyton Pugh were finalists for the TriState Football Mella Player of the Week award, announced November 3.

Roger Bacon's Corey Kiner (football), Cincinnati Country Day's Lawson Renie (girls' soccer), and CHCA's Annie Lockett (volleyball) were finalists for the Enquirer Athlete of the Week award, announced November 11.  Cincinnati Country Day girls' soccer was also in contention for the Fall Team of the Week award and Roger Bacon was up for the Ohio Football Team of the Week award!

MVCA's Emily Abshire (girls' basketball), Cincinnati Country Day's Sabrina Delbello (girls' basketball), and Cincinnati Christian's Crystal Wilson (girls' bowling) were among the nominees for the Enquirer Athlete of the Week award, announced November 25. Seven Hills' Alex Grass (boys' bowling) and Savoy Lackey (girls' bowling), Cincinnati Christian's Crystal Wilson (girls' bowling), Cincinnati Country Day's Kamryn Jordan (girls' basketball), and Clark Montessori's Sean Ealy (boys' basketball) were nominees for the Enquirer Athlete of the Week award.  In addition, the Cincinnati Country Day Lady Indians were up for the Ohio Girls' Basketball Team of the Week award!

CHCA's Blake Lloyd (boys' basketball); Cincinnati Country Day's Matthew Adkins (boys' basketball) and Sabrina DelBello (girls' basketball); Lockland's Deondra Thomas (boys' basketball); Summit Country Day's CJ Replogle (boys' swimming); Seven Hills' Spencer Boyd (boys' swimming); and Cincinnati Christian's Crystal Wilson (girls' bowling) were in contention for the Enquirer Athlete of the Week award, announced December 16.  In addition, Cincinnati Country Day was in contention for BOTH the Ohio Boys' and Girls' Basketball Team of the Week awards and Summit Country Day's swim and dive team is up for Top Winter Team of the Week recognition.  Congratulations to the CCD boys for winning the Team of the Week award!  Read more HERE.

Clark Montessori's Sean Ealy (DII-IV boys' basketball), Seven Hills' Curtis Harrison (DII-IV boys' basketball), MVCA's Melody Arnett (DII-IV girls' basketball), Cincinnati Christian's Crystal Wilson (girls' bowling), and CHCA's relay team of Lucas Leamer, Nick Davidovich, AJ Vibberts, and Logan Ottke (boys' swimming) were finalists for the Enquirer Athlete of the Week award, announced December 23.  Also, Cincinnati Country Day was in contention for the Ohio Girls' Basketball Team of the Week award! 

Summit Country Day's Rachel Martin (girls' basketball) and Seven Hills' Laura Shuppert (girls' basketball) were finalists for the Enquirer Athlete of the Week award, announced January 7.  CHCA (boys' basketball) and Norwood (girls' basketball) were also up for the Ohio Basketball Team of the Week award!

New Miami's Deanza Duncan (boys' basketball); North College Hill's Hakeem Griggs (boys' basketball); CHCA's Billy Southerland (boys' basketball); Clark Montessori's Sean Ealy (boys' basketball) and Mikaela Johnson (girls' basketball); MVCA's Melody Arnett (girls' basketball); Cincinnati Christian's Lizzie Grooms (girls' basketball) and Maddie Porter (girls' bowling); Cincinnati Country Day's Sabrina DelBello (girls' basketball); and Seven Hills' Ted Zhang (boys' bowling) were among the nominees for the Enquirer Athlete of the Week award, announced January 27.  In addition, Seven Hills was up for the Ohio Boys' Basketball Team of the Week award!

St. Bernard's Shemar Tate (boys' basketball); Seven Hills' Loura Ma (girls' bowling), Jocelyn Spanbauer (girls' swimming), and Spencer Boyd (boys' swimming); and CHCA's Jessey Li (girls' swimming) were in contention for the Enquirer Athlete of the Week award, announced February 3.  In addition, New Miami was up for the Ohio Girls' Basketball Team of the Week award! 

St. Bernard's Jaden Wood (boys' basketball), MVCA's Melody Arnett (girls' basketball), Summit Country Day's Rachel Martin (girls' basketball), Seven Hills' Adam Firestein (boys' bowling) and Ella Jo Piersma (girls' swimming and diving), Cincinnati Christian's Talia Heater (girls' bowling), Cincinnati Country Day's Sam Pettengill (boys' swimming and diving) and Mia Latimer and Camille Huxol (girls' swimming and diving), and CHCA's Logan Ottke (boys' swimming and diving) and Jessey Li (girls' swimming and diving) were among the nominations for the Enquirer Athlete of the Week award, announced February 10.  Cincinnati Christian (boys) and Clark Montessori (girls) were also up for the Ohio Basketball Team of the Week awards!
