MVC Student-Athletes Provide Holiday Cheer

On December 21, at Stepping Stones in Indian Hill, CHCA swim team members with Coach Gary (aka Santa) and Coach Suzy Toner provided  swimming elves to volunteer for "Photos with Santa and some Elf Entertainment."  This was a "hands on" service opportunity working with forty kids ages 5-15 with various disabilities.  Over thirty CHCA swimmers assisted with this service project, from singing Christmas music, to creating crafts and playing games with the students at the school.  A merry time was had by all!  Click HERE for photos!

Clark Montessori student-athletes, family members, and Athletic Director Aaron Zupka volunteered on the Holiday a Operations Team at the Freestore Foodbank on December 21.  The student-athletes helped serve Christmas meals to needy families, assisted families to their cars with these boxed meals, and completed other necessary duties to ensure a smooth operation which served over 1500 Christmas meals over the holiday weekend. All student volunteers were members of the school's S.A.L.T. (Student-Athlete Leadership Team) Program. The mission of this group is to use athletics as a platform to positively influence others, to make a difference in their community, to and serve area schools and organizations.  Volunteers can be seen HERE.
